The Overdale is a beautifully renovated Victorian house set on Whitby’s stunning west side. This  Guesthouse is situated within walking distance of all the main attractions in Whitby and has free off road parking, meaning you can enjoy your stay without having to worry about your car. We offer high-quality room only accommodation for visitors to Whitby, and we aim to make your stay in this wonderful seaside resort as pleasurable as possible.

At Overdale we have 5 stunningly finished rooms with each room sleeping 2 Adults. The Overdale is recently renovated to the highest standards and is beautifully furnished throughout. Our guesthouse is one of the finest in Whitby.

All the local facilities including the towns excellent pubs and restaurants are near by. Also with the main bus route and train station close at hand anyone wanting to explore a little further afield can access public transport with ease. The overdale is ideally situated for coastal and country walks, and makes an excellent base for exploring the North Yorks Moors National Park. Close at hand is The North York Moors Railway and Heartbeat country at Goathland. The stunning seaside villages of Runswick, Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay are also worth a visit with scenery here that is unrivalled across the UK.
